So for clarification, because i started using this shield, is it’s mainly for spells. Instead of your typical parry, let whatever projectile coming your way hit you with your guard up, then press L2 for maximum damage. It’s great for dealing with pesky wizards in invasions.

It’s trash , everything gets nerfed because people are monkey seee monkey do … if one content creator says “oh it’s gonna get nerfed or it’s broken “ everyone says it. They speak shit into existence lol just so they can be apart of a group of individuals saying “I told you so or I called it”

No poise, no maneuverability once cast, no bleed buildup, casting length just enough to get staggered out of it when facing a boss, underwhelming damage... Honestly dogshit incant. Between this and the flower bloom, crucible enjoyers really got fucked over by SoTE (though not as much as blackflame fans, poor guys didnt get so much as a passing mention in an item description let alone a mediocre/unusable incant). To make matters even worse, Fromsoft teases us with a crucible frogtongue at the fog rift fort and crucible centaur at the ruins of rauh, only to inexplicably make them inaccessible to the player. A real tragedy all around

hey man could i suggest 2 more combinations ? 1- Maliketh Helm and Leda's Armor but with Gauntlets of Night and Greaves of Night (of the black armor with the fingerprints), skinny body (i'd like to see if the armor looks that beefy even with the skinniest male body). 2- Maliketh Helm, High Priest Robe, Thioller gloves and trousers, to see if it can match with the Velvet Sword of St.Trina

This is actually a good sword now since I am using a dex int and strength build I do tons of damage. I use the lord one and it shreds through Dragonlord Placidusax and Malenia. Just a tip use the claw talisman has been working for me. Other talismans I use are magic scorpion charm, green turtle talisman +2, and shard of alexander.

mimic... mimic.. fingers.. mimic... numen, silver tears... theres a link between the silver tears and the finger ruins. the empyrean flesh itself maybe has something to do with the silver tears and im starting to think that marikas entire race is silver tears maybe. maybe to be an empyrean means your flesh is silver and that is why the outer gods can use empyrean as a vassel. it might also be why the hornsent used the shamans in the jarring rituals, maybe it wasnt just religious crazyness maybe the hornsent knew what they were doing for better or worse and actually managed to make a divine being, Marika, but when Marika found out the truth of her birth is possibly the motivation of the crusade she sent messmer on. i mean the bloodied fingerslayer blade is literally the treasure of the eternal city, and there is quite a large gash in metyrs tummy before we even fight her. im thinking that what happened was marika ascended to godhood via the hornsent rituals and maybe at some point tried to slay the mother of fingers. idk. i been scratching my head on the connections between marika, the fingers, the eternal cities, and the hornsent.

Can you do a mimic tear vs mimic tear where they have one of the hand to hand combat weps with The Poison Flower Blooms twice? I've been watching funny Japanese commercials and that setup for a build made me think of Kamen Rider and his Rider Kick.

Village of Flies is a much better farm than this. Go to Recluses River Downstream and there are a ton right next tot the Grace.

I'm about ¾ into the DLC (I believe) and this is devastating, I started beating bosses in under 20 tries instead of 50+ thanks to this spell, I don't see myself being able to finish the game now. Steam hasnt actually downloaded the update yet, do you think I should be able to play it without updating if I move over the game files and install a crack for the game? Losing the online isn't great but at least I'd be able to finish the DLC...
